Springfield Grille: A Premier Destination for American Cuisine in Youngstown

I was visiting a friend in the Boardman Youngstown area, and I was looking for the right kind of restaurant for a nice lunch where we could talk. I can't believe we lucked out and got the Springfield Grille. As we walked in I just really enjoyed the atmosphere so much. Our server was attentive, but only came around when we needed her because she could see we were talking. What food was ready faster than I ever dreamed. It was piping hot and it was delicious. I have the steak salad which was cooked to perfection and I ordered it rare. He got the cheeseburger combo and he said it was delicious. And the prices are fantastic. So all in all I have nothing but five stars out of five for the Springfield Grille!

We had the best and very nicely cooked medium strip steak here yesterday for lunch. VERY tasty steak. Appetizers very very good as well. The bartender took great care of us, knew that we were sharing the main meal and so it came out 2 plates! Always appreciated. Drinks were very good and the hostess super nice and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful food and service.

We went on a weekday during the after noon. It was nice and calm. The restaurant was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. We sat in the first booth in the bar area. Our food was good but it wasn't off the charts or anything. Our server was very nice and food came in out in a timely manner. The only thing that bothered me as someone who was in the serving/ bartering business for.many years. The hostess station was only a few feet from us and 2 servers were standing there THE ENTIRE time we were there. Almost an hour these girls were standing there. If you're trying to portray a more upscale dining environment no one but the Hostess should be perched at the stand.

I had the crab cake sandwich. He had a bacon cheeseburger that was juicy and cooked to perfection. Both were delicious!! The decor is something to see. Everyone was very nice. I highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant. Small dinner menu, but wooooow! Their chef definitely knows how to prepare a steak. Cooked absolutely perfect and just a small amount of seasoning. The crab cake was so delicious as well. Nice chunks of real crab, not over cooked.

One of the most relaxing meals I've had at a restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was perfect! Service was terrific and the atmosphere is very relaxed with a touch of class.

I travel for work and pleasure. This is the kind of place I always hope to find!! The food, all of it was amazing! From the bread and butter, to the baked peach app, to the BBQ chicken and ribs. Absolutely phenomenal! The service was unhurried, pleasant, timely. They know who they are and they expect you to come, relax and enjoy as long as you wish. The setting was comfortable, interestingly decorated, quiet. Very enjoyable. A great place to unwind after a long day or to enjoy friends. If Springfield Grille was near me, it would be my go to place. The prices were very fair for what you receive. Please stop in and give them a try. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Filet was cooked great and very good. She got the zing chicken and said it was very good. Red velvet cheese case was delicious. Service was outstanding. Always enjoy when we visit.
